Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. invites you to the 2016 National Conference hosted by the Pi Chapter at Arizona State University on Saturday, April 16th at 8:00 AM.

This year's conference theme is "Pivoting Towards Diversified Growth." There have been a number of recent changes to our organization and this year will be no different. In fact, for the first time in our organization's history we are having our conference out-of-state, which represents a pivotal change in the trajectory of our organization. As part of the Well-Rounded Gamma initiative, we want all brothers to have a diverse set of experiences and learning opportunities to promote personal and professional growth. There will be a variety of breakout sessions aimed for the betterment and development of all brothers.

The national conference will also provide an update on some key topics for the organization. Brothers are encouraged to engage in open discussions throughout the event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please make sure you receive a confirmation email after you register.

FAQs


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There will be no transportation organized. Please see below for directions. For parking please use the Apache Blvd Parking Structure which is located in the southern end of the campus. Parking is free on weekends. Electric vehicle parking is TBD.

What building is the event taking place at?
The event will be taking place at Business Administration C-Wing (BAC) in the southen end of campus. We will use BAC 116 as the main lecture hall.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring paper & pen, or a laptop for notetaking.

What is the attire?
Business professional attire.

Is there a required attendance for the chapters?
Yes, there is a 75% chapter membership requirement based on the number of undergraduate and graduate chapter members (active and inactive) based on the Winter/Spring dues.

Will there be a fee to the chapters for not meeting the 75% requirement?
Yes, there will be fee assessed to the chapter, not the brothers, if the 75% requirement is not met. The fee is $30 per member count that doesn't meet the requirement. For example, if a chapter needs 7 brothers to attend in order to meet the 75% requirement, and only 5 register, then the chapter will be charged $60.

Yes, you can update during the day of the event.

Can we sell/distribute merchandise during conference?
Yes. All merchandise to be sold or distributed during conference will need approval from the national Director of Marketing. There will be a $40 merchandise fee and the standard fundraising event fee (up to $100) won't apply. If we receive a request prior to 3/31/16, we will give a 50% discount on the merchadise fee.
