4.00pm - Registration and Refreshments
4.30pm - 'Ethical hacking - how it is done beyond the kill chain' - Lisa Flander, Abertay University
5.10pm - David Hewitt, Associate Partner, IBM - 'Are there criminals in your Enterprise?'
While technology continues to evolve, so does the positive impact it has on our lives; changing the way we communicate with one another and how we work. Another impact of this evolution is how technology is utilised to commit crime, and the dramatic rise of 'white collar' criminal activity occurring around us in the workplace.
As the media and regulators also increase their focus, there is a growing pressure for organisations to be able to prevent and respond to incidents effectively. This session will cover case studies of work based crime, the impact and challenges to the organisation, and techniques to detect and respond to them.
David is a leader in the security industry with over 15 years experience leading and delivering security consulting and solutions to Government, Financial Services and Telcos. He has deep specialist skills managing data breaches, having been involved in the investigation and response of a number of major incidents in the UK and Internationally. Using this experience, and the world class security services and solutions offered by IBM, David's goal is to keep Clients out of the news, and get on with doing business securely.
