BAFA is pleased to present the sixth edition of 'A Festival Career'. The half day event is specifically for students and recent graduates who are interested in exploring a career in the arts - particularly in the festival and events sector - and lecturers also welcome to attend.

Leading festival professionals (invited to showcase a wide range of different festivals: multi arts/fringe/green field/street arts) will discuss and reflect on their personal career path. You will also get a chance to choose round table sessions individually hosted by a broad range of festival staff from all over the country. These speakers will come from a range of festival backgrounds including general management, marketing, education, development, communications, production and press/project managers. Each person will talk about their career as well as describe what their current job entails and in small groups you will have the opportunity to ask plenty of questions.
