Event description

Description

A relaxed evening to present and converse with the shortlisted authors of the 2017 Caine Prize for African Writing. There will be the opportunity to mingle over a complementary glass of wine and some nibbles before kicking off the conversation at 6.30pm.

The discussion will be facilitated by Nick Makoha and the authors will get an opportunity to read from their work, talk about themselves, what inspires them and the opportunities of digital channels for African literature.

You can read the work of the shortlisted writers here

From Monday 12 June you can also read all previous Caine prize anthologies here FREE with your Brent library Card Pin.

This event organised in partnership with the Caine Prize, Brent Council and Digitalback Books
