Event description

Description

Join us to celebrate sustainability and the arts in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017!

The Edinburgh Fringe Sustainable Practice Award is now in it's seventh year at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe: one of Edinburgh's major Festivals, and the largest arts festival in the world. The award was created in 2010 in order to encourage and reward productions engaging with sustainability - both in their sustainable practices or in their conceptual sustainable themes.

Providing an insight into how the culture sector (from both Scotland and internationally) are addressing the challenges of sustainability, the finalist and overall winner of this high profile award will be announced during the ceremony, followed by refreshments and networking.

This award is run by the Center for Sustainable Practice in the Arts and Creative Carbon Scotland, and will be held at the beautiful Scottish Poetry Library - itself an organisation committed to environmental sustainability.

For more information about the ceremony and previous winners, please check our website, or contact alana.laidlaw@creativecarbonscotland.com.
