Description

2017 National Undergraduate Sport and Exercise Medicine Conference

Tickets are now on sale for the 2017 National Undergraduate SEM Conference on October 28th 2017 for only £15 (+£1.52 booking fee).

Who should attend?

The conference is aimed at undergraduates with an interest in sport and exercise medicine, and is suitable for students studying medicine, sports science, physiotherapy or on any other related degrees.

CPD points will be available and will be updated once the conference is reviewed by the FSEM (Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine).

Delegates will be educated and inspired by the latest developments in many different areas within sport and exercise medicine. This will include a wide variety of topics, ranging from physical activity for health and lifestyle medicine, to working pitchside and getting involved in SEM as a student.

What will I get out of the conference?

By attending the conference delegates will be able to expand their knowledge of sport and exercise medicine, and better understand what a career in sport and exercise medicine could be for them. The morning will consist of a series of talks from expert speakers such as Professor Chris Oliver and Dr Andrew Murray and will be followed by an afternoon of interactive workshops. In the afternoon, delegates will be able to choose from a selection of workshops, such as pitchside assessment and procedures, lifestyle medicine, and sports psychology.
