Description

Welcome

We are delighted to be in the position to host our fifth annual Brain Injury Case Management Conference this year, returning to The Hilton in Coventry as a result of your feedback. We look forward to welcoming returning and new delegates alike to explore our 2019 theme of ‘complex relationships within the brain injury and case management field,’ including with each other, with family, with loved ones and with legal teams.

Once again, our day is aimed at Brain Injury Case Managers and other practitioners in the field, inclusive of therapists, support workers, social workers, solicitors and those with an interest in the Court of Protection. Our aim is to come together and provide an informative and interactive day with the purpose of sharing useful practical points you can take away and apply in your everyday work in this specialist field.

The conference will again be supported by a host of relevant exhibitors who look forward to meeting you and the day continues to be an excellent networking opportunity with colleagues, referrers and suppliers alike. Ongoing sponsorship from Tilney; specialist providers of investment management and advisory services for clients like ours, means we are again able to host a number of sponsored student and local authority places, for which we are grateful.

We have a wide range of speakers lined up ready to explore with you the complex wider relationships around the clients we support and we are particularly grateful to the clients, families and practitioners who have given up precious time to share with us their own personal, thought provoking and inspiring stories.

We are thrilled that our previous conferences have now raised over £7,000 for the Ashtons Charitable Trust, supporting a wide range of charities, events and good causes as nominated by Ashtons Staff. We will again be making a donation to the Charitable Trust from the days proceeds and look forward to reaching the £10,000 milestone in the not too distant future!

A host of staff from Ashtons Legal will be present on the day from our Court of Protection, Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury teams who look forward to meeting you; strengthening existing relationships and building new ones. I will leave you with some feedback from our 2018 event and all that remains to be said is thank you for your ongoing support and we trust you enjoy the day!
