2020 CHAPLAINCY ANNUAL LECTURE

“MAKING MONEY FOR DOING GOOD - How faith-based entrepreneurs are helping to combat global poverty”

Heriot-Watt University’s Annual Chaplaincy Lecture will take place on MONDAY 3 FEBRUARY 2020 at 7 pm. The lecture will be given by Dr Richard Higginson.

Dr Higginson was Director of Faith in Business at Ridley Hall, University of Cambridge, from 1989 until 2018. He combined this role with those of Lecturer in Christian Ethics and Director of Studies. He is founder-editor of the quarterly journal Faith in Business, and the author of several books, including Called to Account, Transforming Leadership, Questions of Business Life, Faith, Hope & the Global Economy, and (with Kina Robertshaw) A Voice to be Heard. He is a national and international speaker on Christianity, capitalism and culture, business ethics, and theology of work. He became Chair of Faith in Business on his retirement from Ridley Hall in 2018.
