Healthwatch gives people a powerful voice locally and nationally.

At a local level, Healthwatch Lincolnshire works to help Lincolnshire people get the best out of their local health and social care services, whether it’s improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow.

Healthwatch Lincolnshire is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local services, not just for people who use them, but for anyone who might need to in future.

2020 vision for Health & Social Care in Lincolnshire

Find out the plan for health and social care in your local area.

Join us for this unique public event in Lincoln and be the first to see the plan for health and social care services in Lincolnshire from now until 2020.

Hosted by BBC radio Lincolnshire’s Rod Whiting, this panel led event is your opportunity to hear how headline services will be delivered in Lincolnshire. It will also give you the chance to have a say! Voice your opinions and share your ideas.

The panel members will outline their plans, dispel myths, and explain the context around planned changes to improve the quality of health care in Lincolnshire.

Headline Services included on the day

  • Acute services review – including: urgent and emergency care, general surgery, paediatrics, haematology, oncology and more.

  • Community Health – Johnson, John Coupland, Skegness, Louth hospitals and home services.

  • Mental Health – both inpatient and community support.

  • Primary Care – Lincolnshire’s 5 year vision for GPs, Pharmacies and Dentists.

  • Social Care – the integration of care and health.

  • Sustainability and Transformation – the upcoming plans for Lincolnshire.
