Professor Ferguson is a leading epidemiologist at Imperial College London and a scientific adviser, whose modelling and advice significantly influenced the U.K.’s COVID-19 response. He is the director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Institute for Disease and Emergency Analysics (J-IDEA) and the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis.

The Annual Lecture is organised by Philosophy & Medicine, a joint initiative of the Peter Sowerby Foundation and King’s College London.

The lecture will conclude the 3rd Peter Sowerby Interdisciplinary Workshop on 1st-2nd November: Policy and intervention in crises, disasters and emergencies: Covid-19 and beyond. You can register for this workshop here.
