About this event

Where Christmas begins and family traditions are born ...

It's nearly here, our favourite time of the year! Time to start getting excited and planning your trip to come and see us again. We are super busy behind the scenes getting ready for opening the gates and welcoming you to our little family-run Christmas tree farm. We can't wait to see you all!

OPENING: We open every day from Saturday 13th November until Christmas Eve.

09.00am - 6.00pm weekdays

09.00am - 8.00pm Thursday late night opening

8.30am - 6.00pm weekends (entry car passes required)

We finally close our doors for the season at 2.30pm on Christmas Eve.

To ensure comfortable visitor numbers, we are once again asking weekend visitors to book a FREE car pass online before they arrive. Car passes are purposely timed at 15 minute intervals to ensure a steady flow of people in and out of the farm throughout the day. Please book one ticket per car (not one ticket per person) and please adhere to the arrival time you have booked.

If you cannot attend after you have booked, please let us know so we can cancel your time slot and free it up for another family.

**You do NOT need a car pass to visit us during the week**

  • Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th November
  • Saturday 20th and 21st November
  • Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November
  • Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December
  • Saturday 11th and 12th December
  • Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th December - NO TICKETS REQUIRED

Arrival time slots run every 15 minutes from 8.30am until 5pm (we close at 6pm). For example: 08.30am, 08.45am, 09.00am, 09.15am, 09.30am etc.

IMPORTANT: Please book one slot only per family and arrive on time to avoid a build-up of visitors and possible delays.

PLEASE NOTE - Covid19: For the continued safety of our visitors, we are encouraging the use of masks in all inside or busy areas of the farm and the regular use of hand sanitiser which is available around the farm.

LOCATION: This year we will once again be based in the spacious main car park.

CHRISTMAS TREES: As ever we have lots of beautiful trees to choose from. There are a number of ways in which to buy one:

1. Choose a tree and take it away with you on the day. We have a spacious yard full of beautifully fresh pre-cut trees from our plantations. Lots of choice in size and variety, cut or in pots to replant. There is a perfect tree waiting for everyone!

2. Tag a tree for delivery or collection. To minimise queues, we are asking everyone to pay in full for their tree at the time of tagging. If you wish to collect your tagged tree, please collect on a week day if possible and give us 24hrs notice if you wish to have it cut down and ready for you on arrival, otherwise it will be cut down whilst you wait.

Please note: This year due to natural crop rotation and excessive demand due to Covid in 2020 we have limited Nordman Firs to tag in the plantation next to the Tipis. However we do have plenty of Fraser, Norway and Blue Spruce trees to tag. The Fraser and Blue Spruce's have the same non-needle dropping properties as the Nordman so why not have a look and maybe try a new variety this year? If you still prefer a Nordman don't worry, we have more than enough freshly cut Nordman trees in the yard to choose from, brought over from other plantations.

3. Outdoor express checkouts : So you can choose a tree, pay and go, we have an additional dedicated till points to reduce queuing.

4. Over the phone: If you would rather have a beautiful, hand-picked tree delivered straight to your door, why not give us a ring, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are just a phone call away!

5. Email our Elves: If you'd prefer to email your order to us that's fine too. We will need your name, address and telephone number plus the size (in feet) and type of tree you would like.

REINDEER: We are delighted that our beloved reindeer will make their return to the farm again this year! Thwarted by Covid-19 in 2020, they will be here and ready to greet you from Saturday 20th November to Sunday 12th December, you can even feed them magic moss to help them fly!

SANTA CHARITY GROTTO: Santa will be flying in to see us again this year too. He will be based in our spacious tipi grotto from Monday 13th - Friday17th December, 4pm-6pm and Saturday18th - Wednesday 22nd December,10am-3pm. You do not require a weekend ticket to visit the farm when you have booked to see Santa. Tickets will cost £6 per child. A deposit of £6 (plus booking fee) will be charged online when booking your tickets. The remainder will be payable on the day with the deposit deducted from your total.

ELLA'S TIPI CAFE: Our ever-popular Tipi Café will be open serving homemade cakes, biscuits, amazing luxury hot chocolates.

NEW FOR 2021: This year we are also delighted to announce that we will also be fully licensed to serve seasonal alcoholic beverages! Mulled wine, prosecco and more... just for the grownups!

COFFEE HUT: Our takeaway coffee hut was super popular last year, so we will be serving more hot drinks, cakes and those yummy luxury hot chocolates to reduce visitor waiting times.

CHRISTMAS SHOP: The Tipi will once again house our sparkly Christmas shop this year. Full to brimming with all things Christmassy for your home; tree decorations, lighting, figurines, crackers, candles and with some local suppliers adding to the variety of goodies to be bought as well.

FARM ANIMALS - To keep the reindeer company we will also have our friendly farm animals to say hello to everyday.
