About this event
The 2021 UEL Learning and Teaching Symposium is an opportunity to share best practices and innovative approaches to improving the experience of our students in the classroom and beyond. Through professional partnerships across London, we are providing a one-day intensive workshop style symposium for participants to acquire these tools to implement in their university context.
The 1-day event will take place on Thursday 16th September 2021 and will take place entirely online via Microsoft Teams.
This year's symposium is designed to showcase your scholarly approaches to learning and teaching and has the following four main themes for higher education:
1. Engagement, Retention and Success
2. Beyond Adversity
3. Coaching and Mentoring
4. Careers and Employability
The conference will feature both morning and afternoon keynote sessions in addition to parallel sessions of related papers organised into thematic panels.
