    About this event

    CBME Connecting Practice:

Managing challenging situations in GP placement supervision

Connecting Practice is an online facilitated small group supportive monthly forum (February 2022- May 2022) to help you in the intricate tasks of supervision and teaching (third Wednesday of month). We recognise that General Practice is under extreme pressure at the moment and these sessions are designed to support your teaching throughout this time It is an opportunity for GP tutors to continuously improve your teaching and share best practice through facilitated case-based discussion. There is a theme for each session but we also focus on any issues that are coming up for GPs, particularly managing challenging situations and dealing with the emotional lives of the students.

The session will be facilitated by Lucy Marks (consultant clinical psychologist), Siobhan Cooke (GP), Dr Esther Murray (health psychologist) and Meera Sood (GP)

We are asking all our GP Tutors to attend at least one Connecting Practice session between September 2021 - June 2022
