Join us for the 2022 Kanzen Open Gasshuku held on Saturday 25th June. Led by Sensei Dan Woods , Sensei Roy O’Kane and Sensei Christine Pullan, it is open to all Karate practitioners, regardless of club, affiliation or style.

The Gasshuku will be held at the Regional Performance Centre in Dundee and all participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

The event is free for members of Kanzen Karate with a £10 charge for non members.

Sensei Dan Woods is a professional Karate Instructor with Kanzen and has been training and teaching for over 17 years. He is the Squad Coach of Kanzen Karate and has coached at the highest levels of Sport Karate competition. He is also a member of the World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) Coaches Commission.

Sensei Roy O’Kane is a professional Karate Instructor with Kanzen and has been training and teaching in Shotokan Karate for over 25 years. Over a 16-year competition career, he competed domestically, nationally, and internationally, consistently winning medals in both Kata and Kumite. He has travelled, sought out and trained under some of the best instructors in the world. He is the Public Relations Officer for the World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF).

Sensei Christine Pullan over a long and highly successful career has represented England and Great Britain at the highest levels of competition. She is a two-time World Kata Champion and multiple time British Champion. She is a sought-after instructor and highly regarded coach who regularly travels to teach across the UK. She is the Technical Director of Kanzen Karate.
