About this event

NAHE are delighted to be offering their popular face to face leadership conference for all members of senior leadership teams involved in hospital education, CAMHS Units and medical alternative provision. There is no other event where you get to network with colleagues working in similar settings, learn from your peers and share best practice. The focus of the 2 days is strategic leadership. The conference will offer onsite visits to Manchester Hospital School as well as faciliated discussions with professionals in the field. Entry to the conference includes 2 fully packed days including lunch and refreshments on both days.

Keynote speakers:

Pooky has a PhD in child mental health from the Institute of Psychiatry, is the author of seven books and was previously the chair of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. She’s also an autistic Mum of two who works hard every day to win her own battles against PTSD, anorexia, self-harm and depression.

There will also be sessions from a leading HMI about Ofsted inspections in our settings and a consultation with colleagues from the Department of Education about our thoughts on the SEND and AP reforms contained in the Green Paper, alongside the opportunity to hear from other colleagues about best practice.

If you do one piece of CPD for yourself as a leader this year, this is the event to choose.
