We welcome you to attend the 2022 Police Project awards ceremony on Wednesday 16th February 7-10pm, to celebrate and award the films created by students on film production, performing arts and screen performance programmes.

This year we work alongside Northumbria Police and South Tyneside Safeguarding Children and Adults Partnership on the theme of Peer on Peer Abuse.

The Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries has a sustained collaboration with Northumbria Police, affording drama and media students the opportunity to produce films that increase awareness of complex category serious crime.

These films have proved invaluable as training resources for the police and a vast number of stakeholders from counselling services and law, to healthcare, secondary, tertiary and higher education.

This event will take place face-to face subject to Government COVID restrictions.
