What time does registration open at the Conference on the 23 and 24 October?

Accepted Answer

In person registration at the Conference site starts from 12.30 until 13.55 on the 23 October, and from 08.30 to 09.55 on the 24 October. You registration is valid for both days. Registration will remain open on the Eventbrite site until 17:00 on the 4 October.

Where is the nearest railway station?

Winchester railway station is a 15 minute walk away from the University campus. Taxis are also available from the railway station to the University, average cost is about £8.00.

Question 3

What  food and beverage will be provided during the Conference?

Accepted Answer

We will be providing refreshments and snacks on arrival on both days with regular breaks throughout the conference. A buffet will be available at the evening reception on the 23 October. Lunch will be provided for delegates on the 24 October. Please state dietary requirements when booking online.

What about delegates with food allergies or particular requirements?

Delegates with particular dietary requirements should let us know about their needs as part of the Eventbrite registration process. Please register any specific requirements as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements with the venue. We are unable to guarantee last minute changes.

I am not able to attend the conference, can I forward my invite to a colleague?

Yes,  but the colleague should register their interest on the Eventbrite website as soon as possible. If you have issues please get in touch via our Covenant mail box  'COVENANT-MAILBOX@mod.gov.uk'.

How do I amend duplicate registrations?

Please delete any duplicate entries on the Eventbrite site, any issues please get in touch via our Covenant mail box  'COVENANT-MAILBOX@mod.gov.uk'

Will photos be taken at the conference?

Accepted Answer

There will be imagery of the conference being taken for social media and other platforms, please let our staff know at the conference if you have any concerns. The Ministry of Defence has no control over delegates capturing images for publication on their own social media accounts.

Question 8

Will there be Question and Answer sessions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we plan for the conference to be as interactive as possible  so there will be opportunities for delegates to ask questions. Delegates can let us know as part of the registration process any particular topics or questions that they wish to raise.

Will speakers slides be shared?

Following the conference, subject to the necessary permissions being granted by speakers, we plan to provide copies of  speakers slides to delegates.

When will registration close on the Eventbrite site?

Registration closes on Friday the 4 October at 17:00.

Is there parking at the venue?

Accepted Answer

There is very limited parking on site, which will be reserved for delegates with disabilities on a first come, first served basis.
