Located 4nm south-east of Kings Lynn, East Winch is a great base for exploring North West Norfolk and a great flight for appreciating the stunning Norfolk coastline.

Flight time is around 1 hour from Enstone therefore we aim to depart at 10:30 in order to arrive in plenty of time for Sunday Lunch at the Carpenters Arms, booked for 12:30. The Carpenters Arms is a short walk (around 15 minutes / quarter of a mile) from the airfield.

If you’re a licence holder book your desired aircraft on the Take Flight Tech Log as usual, if you’re a student please register your interest and we’ll buddy you up in an aircraft with spare seats. Aircraft are on a first come first serve basis and we will aim to accommodate as many people as possible with the consideration of flight share options providing safe performance calculations and pilots' discretion.

A small deposit may be required by the restaurant which will be requested by TFA once you have registered.

Please be aware that these events are promoted to Take Flight Aviation Pilot and Student Members. Non-members are able to register and express interest in joining our events but places are not guaranteed. All Fly Outs will depart from Enstone Airfield.

Aircraft Hire Costs start at £179 Per Hour (Cessna 152 2 seat aircraft) for which there will be a cost share per person.
