Welcome to the 3rd Season of the London Town Chamber Fest concert series!
For our Season Opening, we are presenting Rachmaninoff’s legendary cello sonata, performed by Sandra Lied Haga (cello) and Sasha Grynyuk (piano), to be preceded by Chopin’s Ballade no. 1.
For the first time, we will welcome Sandra Lied Haga (Norway), a winner of four international competitions and numerous European Prizes, including the prestigious Equinor Classical Music Award. From Sandra's first performance with a symphony orchestra at the age of 10, her beautiful sound has made her a sought-after soloist around the world.
As so many of our audience have requested, Professor of Mathematics Yang-Hui He of Oxford University and the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences, The Royal Institution will return with more of his eye-opening insights into the mathematical beauty in music.
Join us on 21 September at 18:30 at the Church of the Annunciation Marble Arch.
Drinks and nibbles with the performers to follow as always. Great conversations and new friendships have become integral to our evenings.
Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes early to avoid queues.
