We are delighted to invite you to this year’s Oundle Lecture and black tie dinner on Thursday 19 June 2025.
Our speaker OO Alice Kan (LS 97), is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Alice spent 13 years at AstraZeneca and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, managed the production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, overseeing the delivery of 16 million doses. She now contributes to the Sabin Vaccine Institute’s efforts against Ebola and Marburg.
Alice’s mission is to drive engineering innovations to combat deadly diseases and improve public health. She is also dedicated to addressing sexism in engineering and encouraging more women to remain in the field. Her lecture is titled What Did You Mean by That? – A Question Inspired by an Engineering Career in the Minority.
Tickets are £50.00 per person.
