Rizwana Siddiqui is a self taught, talented artist whose creativity stems from a passion for textiles and a rich cultural heritage.
Join her weekly silk painting workshops on Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons through September and October where she will share her extensive knowledge of this craft.
Please check the Eventbrite ticket section for the specific dates due to travel commitments. There will be no workshops in November and December, but will restart in January.
Rizwana has many years of experience of community engagement and health promotional activities across Mid Essex, previously having worked for Chelmsford Volunteer Center and Mid Essex CCG.
She founded EMAN in 2010 to support South Asian communities to promote cultural diversity and skills development. She shared her skills set in a variety of ways including at the Essex Jiangsu festival, Essex One World festival, Essex Cultural Olympiad, CHP family fun days, Chelmsford Fling Festival and Black History Month.
The workshop is run by one or more of our volunteers so please always be kind, and respectful as they are giving their time. Be understanding that this is also part of their journey for their own mental health and well-being.
