Welcome to Ellijay Paws In Need's first annual Vineyard Tails & Tiaras - Adoption & Fundraiser Event! Join us at Grapes and Ladders Vineyards and Winery for a paw-some day featuring our Gilmer County Animal Shelter stars walking the red carpet, velvet ropes and all! Vote to crown this year's winner.

This in-person event is all about finding loving homes for rescue dogs in need, while raising funds for their care while they wait for their furever. Come sip on wine, mingle with fellow animal lovers, shop the paw-some items in our silent auction and from our featured Local Vendors, and maybe even meet your new best friend. Don't miss out on this tail-wagging good time!

What time is the Red Carpet Event?

Our Shelter Stars will walk the Red Carpet starting at 2:30pm. You can vote for your favorite anytime between 2:30pm and 4pm. The winner will be revealed at 4:30pm!

Can I bring my children? How about my dog(s)?

This is a family-friendly event. Yes, you can bring your kids, as well as your furry ones!

Will there be food?

Yes, D'z Meltz foodtruck will be serving delicious gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and Geno's Bag O' Donuts will satisfy your sweet tooth with their amazing mini-donuts!

What is the Tails & Tiaras Calendar and Community Pup Nominees all about?

The 2026 Calendar will celebrate our amazing dogs who make the Red Carpet shine! Our Winner will be featured on the cover. Each of our Shelter Finalists will have their own spotlight month. Plus, you'll get to vote duing the event for Community Pup Nominees who could also earn a month of fame!
