The 2026 FOBISIA Battle of the Bands Live Final is the culmination of a region-wide competition that gathers the highest-calibre student bands from across Asia. After an open preliminary round of online submissions and auditions, shortlisted bands from FOBISIA member schools receive an exclusive invitation to perform live at DBS Denla British School’s state-of-the-art Araya Hall in Bangkok on 30–31 January 2026. This two-day event kicks off with hands-on workshops, soudchecks and rehearsals, and a cultural excursion on 30 January - before students take the stage for the Live Final on Saturday, 31 January 2026.
The Live Final features two age categories: Lower Secondary (KS3, ages 11–14) from 09:00 to 13:00, and Upper Secondary (KS4 & 5, ages 14–18) from 14:00 to 18:00. Each band will perform before a panel of seasoned industry judges who provide live feedback and score on musicality, originality, stage presence, and audience engagement. Following the Upper Secondary performances, awards for Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners will be presented.
