About this event

This is a one day ,7.5 hour, RYA First Aid course for Dinghy, Windsurf, Powerboat, Stand Up Paddleboard, Instructors and Assistant Instructors. The Start time is 09:00 and finished at 17:00. Participants must be over 16.

Your RYA First Aid certificate will be  valid for three years.

The RYA reecognised training center is Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club and the Course is shore based - Held in the clubhouse. The maximum Student instructor ratio is 12:1, you will be provided withthe RYA first aid book and certificate valid for three years. The course is delivered in English.

 How Much Does It Cost?

The cost zero, nada, zip for BCYC volunteers. It has been decided that this course will be subsidised 100% for anyone volunteering  at BCYC. The cost for the general public is £99.

Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club (BCYC) is a Training Centre certified by the Royal Yachting Association, the governing body for sailing in the U.K. 

BCYC exists to help people enjoy a range of watersports, whatever your ability or age. Anyone is welcome to join us afloat at Cheddar Reservoir near Axbridge. Although the club atmosphere is relaxed, informal and friendly we aim to provide a professional environment for teaching a range of watersports including Sailing, Windsurfing, Powerboating, Stand-Up Paddleboards and Sit-On Kayaks.
