Description

The 2050 Climate Group Leader's Network would like to invite you to attend a 'Climate Justice Dinner and Discussion' on Saturday October 21st, 2017 at Project Cafe, Glasgow! We will be joined by researchers from Glasgow Caledonian University's Centre for Climate Justice to present what climate justice means both in the UK and internationally. They'll share insights from their research and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and networking.

The workshop will serve as an introduction to the concept of Climate Justice. Climate Justice, simply defined, is the recognition that the least responsible for human-made climate change are most affected by its impacts. The concept has great relevance in today's world and has an interdisciplinary nature. We will look at the root causes and examples of climate injustice and work on solutions to selected examples in an interactive way.

After the workshop, we will have the chance to continue conversations over a delicious vegetarian dinner! Please note food will be ordered in advance, so if you are no longer able to make it please inform us immediately. (The cafe is also BYOB should you wish to bring something along).
