Description

We have all had bad experiences as consumers trying to engage with large companies through their contact centres. Ashley Unitt is the founder of NewVoiceMedia, a cloud based ‘Software as a service’ (SaaS) company formed around the belief that contact centres were broken but they could be fixed by helping companies have great conversations that build deep emotional bonds with their customers and create loyalty and long term profit.

In this 20MINFOUNDER Ashley will share his incredible journey. He will explain how he went from going from two founders with an idea to one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in Europe. The remarkable story included building a team of over 400 people, raising multiple rounds of VC funding, and creating a cloud platform handling billions of events per day while maintaining 99.999% uptime before then being acquired for $350M.

Ashley's talk is part of a regular series of 20MINFOUNDER talks from Future Worlds. The series brings founders of disruptive startups onto campus to share inspiring stories and valuable tips for aspiring university entrepreneurs.

The one-hour sessions, hosted at one of the University’s largest lecture theatres on Highfield Campus, include refreshments and networking either side of a striking keynote talk.
