20th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC26)
Join us in Zagreb, Croatia, 16–18 February 2026 for the 20th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC26), exploring the theme AI, austerity, and authoritarianism: contemporary challenges in digital curation.
Hosted by the Digital Curation Centre (DCC), the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) is a long-established annual event with a unique place in the global digital curation community.
IDCC26 marks the 20th edition of the conference, bringing together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts to tackle contemporary challenges and share best practices in digital curation.
Event Highlights
Workshops – Monday, 16 Feb
IDCC26 kicks off with interactive, hands-on workshops led by community experts. Participants can choose one full-day workshop or two half-day sessions. Tickets are limited and will open in late November 2025 on Eventbrite.
Workshops are in-person only.
Main Conference – Tuesday 17 & Wednesday 18 Feb
Held at the Esplanade Hotel Zagreb, the main conference features keynote speakers, scholarly paper discussions, lightning talks, and a poster exhibition, all selected by our international programme committee.
In-person attendance only.
Social Events
- Drinks Reception – Monday, 16 Feb
Included with your conference ticket, hosted at the Esplanade Hotel Zagreb. Spaces are limited—please add the Drinks Reception ticket when registering.
If you can no longer attend, email idcc@dcc.ac.uk so we can reallocate your place to someone else on the waiting list.
- Brewery Tour & Dinner – Tuesday, 17 Feb
Join us at The Garden Brewery & Taproom for a tour, buffet dinner, and drinks.
- Standard ticket (£50): 30-min brewery tour, buffet dinner, and 2 drinks.
- Tasting ticket (£70): Includes an additional 30-min guided tasting of 4 beers.

- Regular Conference Ticket: Available until 1 February 2026.
- One-Day Conference Ticket: Available for either Tuesday 17 or Wednesday 18 February. Available until 1 February 2026, or until sold out.
