Event Details

We are once again accepting reservations for our 21-23 August retreat in a quaint English farm overlooking the Seven Sisters cliffs between Eastbourne and Brighton. Only £60 deposit which is refundable in case the government once again changes its guidelines. We have added waiting list tickets as we can only take 5 students inside the venue at present, but this could change.


 As we run City Yogi as a charity you are only required to pay for the cost of this event, donations to teachers are accepted at the end, typically ranging from £80 to £200. If you need a paying plan please let us know.

theme: digestion & sleep

where the only mandatory tasks are: signing up for 2 activities, attending closing circles and taking a nap after meals.


Yin yoga in the evenings, with optional meditation, *very slow* walks, group workshop and silent retreat option, suitable for beginners and expectant mums. Also optional Slow Flow Hatha in the mornings. A total of 4 yoga classes will be available. We make all activities optional so you can follow your own rhythm and focus on nourishing your body and enhancing digestion which in turn promotes better sleep improving overall functions of the immune systems.

Sample Schedule


  • 4pm check-in (arrange your own transport)

  • Dinner, optional walk/meditation followed by Yin Restorative


  • Morning: Breakfast, optional activities (Hatha ,walk, meditation)

  • Lunch, followed by free time with optional yoga/walk

  • Dinner plus Yin yoga followed by optional activities (surprise)


  • Morning: Hatha, optional walk, final circle followed by brunch

  • 3pm check out

*if you fancy a workout between restorative activities the farm offers great routes to amazing trails through the forest or overseeing the cliffs, we can point you in the right direction or organise a small group.

After making the deposit you will receive an email with your balance and payment details, deposits are refundable in case the government change the guidelines regarding this type of event, otherwise your place is transferrable, as a reminder City Yogi UK is a small charity running events at cost with donations accepted by teachers.
