Event Title

21st Century families (LGBT+) – Inclusive and diverse relationships education

Focus Area

In 2009 teachers told us that homophobic bullying was one of the most common types of bullying in their schools and they overwhelmingly believed that tackling it was important. However too many felt they lacked the confidence, skills and support to challenge it effectively.

This training has been developed to increase staffs confidence in delivering an inclusive and diverse RSHP curriculum.  The training will highlight a range of resources available which supports delivery and helps staff create a safe, inclusive environment for pupils to learn about, embrace and celebrate difference within the diverse landscape for modern relationships and families.
