Creating 21st century socialism: democracy, social movements & the state, with Tom Whittaker
Jeremy Corbyn's re-election as Labour leader has given renewed hope to all those who wish to see radical social change in society. For the first time in decades a clear socialist vision is once again at the heart of Labour.
But creating 21st century socialism will require powerful social movements imbued with a clear sense of what obstacles must be overcome to move beyond capitalism.
Come and join in these vital discussions looking at how people's ideas can change; how oppression is created and how it can be overcome; and how we can confront and deal with the question of the state.
No prior knowledge is necessary - a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as always.
