Description

22 June, 15:00-16:00 CEST

National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs are partnerships between digital skills actors in Member States who work together to improve digital skills at national, regional or local level.

National Coalitions develop strategies which tackle the specific issues facing the country. These are formulated around the four main theme areas of the Coalition, namely

  • digital skills for all
  • digital skills for labour force
  • digital skills for ICT professionals
  • digital skills in education

National Coalitions then develop action plans that will deliver on the strategies. In many cases, actions can be carried out and funded by the partners of the Coalition. However, some actions may be dependent on securing funding from third parties.

The Secretariat of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition is launching the first in a series of webinars aimed at raising awareness of the various European funding sources that may be available to associate with the actions of the National Coalitions.

The first webinar will cover the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and focus on the opportunities offered by the Operational Programmes (OP).

Following a presentation on the above funds, we will look specifically at how they can serve the objectives of National Coalitions.
