This event is for the parents and carers with a child that has made an application for a college course starting September 2022.
What to expect
Make your way to the main reception of our Derby Road campus where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. You will then be invited to listen to a presentation, which will include:
- A warm welcome by a member of the college’s executive team
- Information about your child’s study programme including work placements and wider learning opportunities
- Understanding what we expect of students and what they can expect from college life
- Guidance on the various student support services available to students at college including additional learning support
- What financial support students can access at college
- Information about what to expect between now and September
- A chance to ask any questions at the end of the evening
