2.25hr Baby/Child First Aid - 9 May 2017
Tue 9 May 2017, 19:00 – 21:15 BST
Parents, grandparents, carers and babysitters - would you know what to do if a child in your care stopped breathing or was choking? Could you deal with a major bleed or recognise the signs of meningitis?
If you look after or have children aged 0-12 and you haven't been trained in first aid, come along to this informal yet informative hand-on session.
Covering primary assessment, CPR, recovery position, choking, fever, meninigitis, bleeding and burns.
Please note that the majority of the 2.25hrs will be spent on learning CPR, recovery position and choking. If you require a more in-depth course on other aspects of first aid, please book the 3hr course.
It could be the best couple of hours you ever spend.
This course will be facilitated by a QCF Level 3 qualified first aid trainer and assesor, whose certificates are available should you wish to see them.
