About this event

We’ve adapted our albert training programme, so that we can deliver it to you as an online webinar, during the UK lockdown. As always, our training is free to attend, and will be held on Zoom.

BAFTA’s albert project is supporting the industry in eliminating waste and carbon emissions. This training session is an opportunity for all those in the TV industry to understand the key challenges for productions, genres and the industry as a whole, as well as what can be done at every level to promote environmental sustainability.

2 x 60 mins (these sessions will be run back to back, with a 10 minute break in between)

  • Context: Climate change fundamentals, implications and actions
  • Creating content that supports the transition to a sustainable society

Trainees will be sent a short homework (20 mins max) prior to the training, this email will also contain the meeting link.

Organised by

albert is the screen industry authority on environmental sustainability. Founded in 2011, the project supports the industry in eliminating its environmental impact as well as developing on-screen content that is compatible with a sustainable climate.

A BAFTA, indie and broadcaster backed project, albert is proudly industry funded, meaning all our activities are available at the lowest possible cost to organisations and zero cost to individuals.

With events, online tools and training, practical guidance and thought leadership, albert is enabling all screen industry professions to identify and act upon opportunities on and off screen, for effective climate action.
