24 in 24 Photography Competition - Festive Special

About this Event

Following the success of the St Albans Film Festival photography competition last summer… it’s back for a special festive edition! Meet outside the St Albans Museum + Gallery at 11am to collect your list of 24 things.

Then it’s go, go, go as you try and photograph all 24 subjects within the space of 24 hours. Join in for a chance to be crowned the winner and have your picture displayed to the public in the St Albans Museum + Gallery!

This is an amazing event, to test your creative side, while exploring St Albans. Open to all ages and all levels of experiences, so whether you fancy getting the family together for a fun event or you are keen photographer looking for portfolio inspiration, this is the event for you. Photos can be taken on any type of camera, but need to be uploaded digitally before 11am on Sunday 15th December. The list of 24 things will be handed out at the Museum + Gallery at 11am on the Saturday, but also published on our social media feeds, in case people can't attend the start. As per last summer, we will provide advice on how to submit the photos.

Prizes will be awarded for the following:

1. Best photo

2. Best photo taken by an under 14

3. Best set of 24 photos

This event is hosted and judged by local photographer Mark Sims. to see his work click here - http://marksims.co.uk
