The debates about providing a full range of hospital-based services throughout every day of the week are regularly in the news, but how would this benefit patient care and what would it mean in practice to make this a reality?
Professor Tim Doran, along with research colleagues from The University of Manchester, will provide further information about the important national research that is taking place at Salford Royal and a number of other Trusts. Drawing on current evidence, they will share the potential benefits and challenges of the provision of 24/7 hospital-based healthcare for the future.
This session, will be an opportunity for members of the public to join the debate and contribute to ongoing research in this important area of healthcare.
