ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
This major international event on cultural management and policy will bring together academics, researchers, professionals from the cultural sector, policy makers, artists, students and media from Europe and beyond.
Renowned experts and leading academics and practitioners will be invited to share their knowledge and insight with conference participants.
To make the ENCATC Annual Conference in 2016 a success, this major international event is being done in partnership with ENCATC member, the University of Valencia, as well as the Centre Cultural La Nau, and with support from the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.

For participants who are staying after the conference, ENCATC is proposing:
a cultural visit to Sagunto on 8 October. Additional fees apply and registration is required.
a 2-day Study Tour in Barcelona on 10 and 11 October, in partnership with AAAE and the University of Barcelona. The Study Tour will start 9 October with a welcome dinner (at participants’ expenses). Additional fees apply and registration is required.

ENCATC members, AAAE members and their students have a special day dedicated to a Members’ Forum. This part of the programme is free, but registration is required. However, students and AAAE members cannot participate in the ENCATC General Assembly that is held on this day.

The programme on 6 and 7 October are open to everyone. Both members and non members must register to attend. Special rates are available for students.*
The programme includes a Young Researchers’ Forum (YRF) for young and early career researchers. The YRF is free to attend, but registration is required.
8 October - Extra day in Sagunto:
For participants who are staying after the conference, on 8 October, ENCATC is offering a cultural visit to Sagunto. Additional fees apply and registration is required.
10-11 October - Study Tour in Barcelona:
For participants who are staying after the conference, ENCATC, in partnership with AAAE and the University of Barcelona, is organising a 2-day Study Tour in Barcelona with visits on 10 and 11 October. The Study Tour will start 9 October with a welcome dinner (at participants’ expenses). MORE INFO COMING SOON!
IMPORTANT: Fees do not cover travel and accommodation. Subsistence costs are also not covered with the exception of meals and coffee breaks stated in the programme.
*Students are age 28 or younger and enrolled full time in Bachelor or Master programme (not PHD).
