Alexander Carter (he/him) - “When I first came out as Gay at 16, I felt huge relief at being able to be my true authentic self. However, throughout my later teenage years and early 20s I realised the label I’d chosen was not truly representative of my whole self, and I grappled with being stereotyped and not ‘fitting in’. Coming out as Bi at 24 required just as much courage and often left me feeling more isolated and excluded than I had before.

For the past 18 months I’ve led the Bi & Pan section of the Rainbow Network at Lloyds Banking Group. Despite being the biggest population within the LGBTQ+ community we often struggle to find visible role models, which only exacerbates the isolation some colleagues under the Bi umbrella feel.”

Chloe Davies (she/her) is a creative and passionate global inclusion & belonging consultant, chef, and entrepreneur who has dedicated much of her 20+ year career campaigning for inclusion and equality in all spaces, whether in corporate organisations or the wider community. With over 15 years of experience in retail, artist management, and PR, Chloe has honed her expertise in leadership and workplace allyship.

Her work centres around creating spaces of belonging, mental health & well-being, self-empowerment, culture change, community engagement and workplace advocacy.

In September 2021 she took on a first of its kind role in UK Advertising as the Head of Social Impact for Lucky Generals – the creative company for people on a mission. Where she was responsible, in conjunction with management, for setting the company’s global social impact (ESG) goals ensuring that they are met in the most effective and creative ways possible. The role was focused on building a sustainable, diverse and inclusive company culture and client output across their London & New York offices. She was instrumental for cementing purpose within recent campaigns such as Amazon ‘Kindness, Parental Leave & Joy is Made’, Co-op ‘It’s What We Do’ & ‘Cooking up a Difference with Big Zhu’, Zoopla ‘What a Home is Really Worth?’ and her biggest triumph with Virgin Atlantic ‘See the World Differently & 'Runway on a Runway’ campaigns which continues to change the aviation industry for the better with nine airlines and counting adopting gender neutral uniform policies.

She is the Founder of 'It Takes A Village' - a collective for Black women in advertising, media & marketing. Multi-award winning and nominated, she was recently listed 8th on Campaign’s Top 40over40 UK Marketeers.

Vaneet Mehta (he/him) is an Indian bisexual man born and raised in Southall, West London. He is a software engineer, writer and public speaker and the founder of #BisexualMenExist, which went viral in 2020. He has appeared on numerous panels and delivered talks to various companies. He has written for Men's Health, Stonewall, GMFA and Unicorn Magazine and his work has been published in The Bi-ble: New Testimonials, The Ampersand Project and The Sex Agenda. His first book, Bisexual Men Exist, was published in January 2023.

Helen Newburn (she/ her) - "I've worked for Lloyds Banking Group for the last 18 years within our Risk division. I am Co-Chair of the Rainbow network which is a huge honour. My first role within the Rainbow Network was to join the Bi Working Group as an ally to help gauge more support, awareness and primarily prevent Bi Erasure which I feel very strongly about! I also help lead Calderdale Pride in Halifax where we make our event free for all to attend and being a safe space, particularly for young LGBTQ+ people".

Erik Niewiarowski (he/they) is the B2B and Careers Content Lead at PinkNews where they advocate for career and professional development for the LGBTQ+ community. Coming out publicly later in life, this is a role that they are incredibly passionate about and proud to hold. Erik has been lucky enough to grow his career experiences in the multi-media and publishing industries - from working on concert tours to the Oprah Winfrey Show and various legacy and niche media in between – they continue to tell the stories of and highlight the experiences of under-represented audiences. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they now live in Glasgow, Scotland with his partner, 2 kids, and dog Stan.

Jen Yockney MBE (she/her) has run BiVisibilityDay.com since 2001, a worldwide listings hub for the annual bi awareness day which is marked for the 25th time this September 23. She is editor of Bi Community News magazine and for more than twenty years has been Convenor of BiPhoria, the UK's oldest bi social / support organisation. In 2016 she was the first Mx in the Honours List when she received the MBE for Services To The Bisexual Community.

Jen says her activism comes not from role models but anti-role models: there came a point where she had heard and read bisexuality erased and dismissed once too often, and had to get off the sofa and do something.
