🧵 Hand-Sewn Clothing Repair Session
Do you have a holey sock or a beloved, moth-eaten jumper you'd love to save but don't know how? Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of hand-sewn mending techniques. Whether you want to darn, embroider, or patch, you’ll get tips for both visible and invisible mending—and the chance to try it out for yourself.
Bring along an item you'd like to repair, or practice on our scrap fabrics.
Not only does mending breathe new life into your clothes, it’s also a slow, mindful activity—great for unwinding, relaxing, and taking your mind off the everyday. But be warned... it can become seriously addictive! You may find yourself hunting for holey clothes just to keep going.
🌍 Did you know? Extending the life of a piece of clothing by just nine months can reduce its carbon, water, and waste footprint by 20–30%.
