Our training course is required for anyone who has safeguarding leadership responsibilities or is responsible for leading activities involving children, young people and/or vulnerable adults.
This training provides a learning module which includes a mixture of reading and preparation work, two 2 hour Zoom sessions with Safeguarding Trainers, review and evaluation work. The course explores what effective leadership behaviour should look like in respect of safeguarding, and how to respond effectively to safeguarding concerns. A Training Handbook is provided to guide you through the preparatory and evaluation tasks.
Participants need to reflect on aspects of safeguarding and attend both sessions on 22nd & 29th November in order to complete the course.
