Module 1 - Defining equality and supporting legislation

9:30am - 12pm

To define equal opportunities and discrimination (direct, indirect, by association, perception, harassment and victimisation).
To develop an understanding of the practical application, and their duties around, the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty.
To identify strategies to promote inclusive practice and challenge discrimination.

Module 2 - How pre-judging affects decision making

2pm - 4:30pm

To identify what can affect our judgements.
To recognise what experiences can influence our decision making.
To develop an action plan to prevent discriminatory decision making.
