'Lee is very knowledgeable about many aspects of the film and TV industry, from special effects and the filming process, to being in several TV shows himself! He has a background in TV as a tour guide for many well known programmes and he communicates this with enthusiasm and great humour. Birmingham needs a walking tour like this - something a little different but with plenty of fascinating information. Lee is more than happy to take questions throughout the tour, and the whole 2.5 hours just flew by. There are quizzes along the way, the opportunity to pay a quick comfort visit if needed, and even a prize at the end of the walk. We covered many historical buildings and Lee carries screen grabs from many films and TV shows with him to further illustrate the locations used and exactly where you are standing in Birmingham when he relates the many anecdotes and stories behind the shooting of such epics. It feels a very personal tour, in the best possible way, and Lee gives his all - even following up afterwards with a fact-packed email containing links and more details about some of the places visited during the day. Well this was such a great day. I had no idea Birmingham was used for so many film locations. The locationist is an absolute delight and should be a star of a show himself. Seriously!
