Take part in the 2022 Bristol Walk Festival by joining this short walk around Leigh Woods with the team at Go Jauntly.

The annual walking fest in Bristol is back, and to celebrate Sage, Hana and their four-legged friends want go walking with you! Take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful nature reserve, whilst enjoying the benefits associated with spending time in nature.

Location

The walk begins and ends at the North Road entrance to Leigh Woods. This is marked with an information board, but Sage and Hana will be at the entrance before the event takes places.

Nearby Abbots Leigh Road is the closest bus stop to the start of this walk. Clifton Down is the closest train station, just a half hour walk from there to Leigh Woods.

What to bring

• This is a gentle walk but please make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
• The weather may not behave itself, so an umbrella and rain jacket may be useful to bring too.
• Food and water. There are no shops or cafes on the route so please bring some snacks and a drink with you for the walk.
