29th January - The Grant Making Journey: From Application to Monitoring
Overview
You’re invited to our next Foundry Fundraising Group meeting, that will take place on Thursday 29th of January, at 1pm on Teams.
Join our expert-led, live online training session, The Grant Making Journey: From Application to Monitoring, designed to help charities and non-profits submit stronger, more confident funding applications.
This practical session will guide you through how funders assess applications at every stage of the grant-making cycle. You’ll gain valuable insight into what makes a strong and compliant application, how to align your project plans, budgets, and outcomes with funder expectations, and how to avoid common pitfalls that can delay or jeopardise funding. The session will also cover what happens after funding is awarded, including monitoring, reporting, and compliance requirements.
There will be dedicated time for Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions specific to your organisation and funding goals.
The session will be delivered by PWW Solicitors, recognised experts in the non-profit and charitable sector and ranked Tier 4 in the Legal 500 Directory.

The Foundry Fundraising Group is for tenants who work in the field and would like to learn more and gain peer support with their current fundraising projects.
The aim of the group is to connect fundraisers across the different organisations to learn from each other’s experiences, and to discuss trends and challenges.
This group is for anyone working in fundraising – whether you are the lone fundraiser or part of a big team, and whether you’ve been fundraising for 20 years or 2 weeks! We want to encourage and share best practice – and just give an opportunity to meet with other fundraisers working in The Foundry.
