Join Fluidigm at the LUMC to discover the future in high-dimensional cytometry: CyTOF XT

About this event

Standard BioTools (formerly Fluidigm) is proud to announce a new collaboration with the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) to establish our first European Reference Center. By combining extensive expertise in high-dimensional cytometry and high-dimensional imaging, the LUMC will have access to the new CyTOF XT™. The reference center will be used for showcases, demonstrations, trainings and method development in collaboration with Fluidigm.

At this grand opening, you will also have the opportunity to see the CyTOF XT live, together with top-class lectures from an array of amazing scientists.

  • 11.00am: Registration opening and social networking (Research Building, building 3, Hippocratespad 21, 2333, ZD Leiden, Foyer: V-00-002, Burumazaal: V-01-015 | 6 CZ).
  • 12.00pm: Lunch
  • 12.45pm: Introduction
  • 'Exploring the tissue inflammatory landscape in chronic inflammation and cancer' by Dr Yvonne Vercoulen, Principal Investigator, Center for Molecular Medicine, University Medical Center Utrecht
  • 'Inborn errors of immunity – A multiparametric approach to uncover immunodysfunctions in infants' by Dr Dorit Verhoeven PhD, Amsterdam University Medical Centers (AMC)
  • 'Looking for hope in heterogeneity: Mapping the immune response in a rare genetic syndrome' by Dr Estel Collado Camps PhD, Tumour Immunology Lab, Radboudumc
  • 'How diet–gut microbiome axis regulates host immune landscape' by Dr Mahesh Desai, Luxembourg Institute of Health
  • 'Atlas shrugged: using cytometry to support and extend single cell atlases' by Dr Yann Abraham, Senior Principal Scientist, AI & Genomics Initiative France, Data Science, Janssen Pharmaceutica
  • 'Single-cell drug activity mapping in glioblastoma identified drug response heterogeneity and therapy-induced cellular plasticity' by Dena Panovska, KU Leuven
  • 'Cord blood immune response differences between Europeans and malaria-exposed Africans using mass cytometry' by Yoann Mouwenda, PhD Student, Department of Parasitology, Leiden University Medical Center
