What if I have some specific questions about OMFS which I would like someone to answer?

No problem! tweet us @mcromfs or send along your questions to mcromfs@gmail.com with the subject header "questions". We will try and go through the questions and re-direct them to surgeons who will be speaking at the conference. Alternatively, you can ask on our facebook page @mcromfs

Do I have to be a qualified dentist or doctor to attend?

This event is targeted to OMFS trainees at DCT to ST3 level and doctors/dentists who work regularly as a 2nd on call for OMFS. However, this is not a strict requirement - we welcome all professionals interested in OMFS as a career - from undergraduate medical/dental students to non-training doctors. You do not have to be dually qualified to attend.

I am a OMFS trainee but I don't do any 2nd on call work yet. Is this course still useful?

Yes. Whatever your level of training or job role we recommend that you attend. If you are a OMFS trainee or intend to pursue a career in OMFS we think this this course will prepare you for the common calls you will deal with when working 2nd on. As we have mentioned, this course is targeted towards DCT to ST3 levels - however if you don't fall into this group of trainees you are still welcome to come along.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. We will however be hosting an informal social on Saturday evening - if you are lucky enough to look under 21, please remember to bring your ID!
