What's it all about?

Building on the success of the 1st UK Virtual Summit for Virtual Organisers in June 2020, this event will be even more informative and inspiring.

Hosted by Juliet Landau-Pope, founder of the Academy of Virtual Organising, it includes:

• A pre-summit virtual party on Wed 20 Jan from 8 - 10 GMT
• A keynote talk by Sheila Delson, international expert on virtual organising
• Short presentations from virtual organisers of real-life case studies
• A special interview with a surprise guest
• Top tips on business development from experts on social media strategy, public speaking, and diversity and inclusion
• Small group discussions in friendly break-out room
• A prize draw and fun competitions
• And much more!

How will it work?

A week before the event you'll receive a schedule with the speaker list and session timings to help you plan your day. You'll also receive a Zoom link and instructions on how to join the Summit.

A five-hour virtual event may sound intense but don't worry. You won't be just sitting in front of a screen. Sessions will be lively and engaging, and many will be interactive with plenty of opportunities for Q & A. You'll also be invited to take part in small group discussions and there'll be short breaks to give you a chance to stand up and stretch or to refill your coffee/tea. If you're concerned about distractions due to family or other commitments, don't be deterred. Feel free to switch off your camera, or pop in and out - whatever works best for you.
