3 DAY FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY & STYLING RETREAT

A 3-day intimate and intense food photography and styling workshop with professional photographer Danielle (DL) Acken, professional food stylist Aurelia Louvet and farm-to-table chef, Angela Hartley. The workshop will be held in the beautiful medieval town of Ludlow with accommodations available for all at the lovely Dinham Weir House through Monday morning. We'll explore the market town, visit an organic farm, learn how to tell "food stories", eat gorgeously fresh food, and learn all of the principles, tips and tricks that the professionals employ.

We will be working through the "how-to's" from reading the recipe to how light, angle and your choice of props change the look and feel of your shot. Danielle, Tami & Nicola will be there to help you through every step of the process. You’ll also have access to surfaces, props and linens for your images.

This course is aimed at anyone interested in food photography - from the amateur or professional food bloggers to those looking to break into the industry on a professional basis, or even those who just love posting images of gorgeous food that they eat. Come and join us for an incredibly yummy and informative weekend away!

You’ll need to bring your camera or iPhone: as this is not a "how to work your camera” session – basic knowledge of camera & settings is essential - or if you choose to shoot on phone that's acceptable too. Laptops or iPads needed. If you have a tripod, bring it. Black card, white card, and reflectors recommended. And of course, bring along any props you love to shoot with.

£945 early bird / £1045 if booked after September 1stth

Included: meals & beverages for Friday evening as well as all day Saturday and Sunday / accommodations for 3 nights at Redford Farms (rooms are shared accommodations) / transport to locations during workshop / transport from Ludlow Centre to Redford Farm on Friday afternoon and return on Monday morning (for those traveling by train) / entrance to the Ludlow Spring Food Festival

Not included: initial transportation to Ludlow, UK / market purchases / camera equipment

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
