This course will introduce you to the many avenues of abstraction. It will run from 10am till 4.30pm on 3 consecutive days.

Working with painting, drawing, collage and a combination of all three you will learn how to think about the canvas as a visual surface in itself as opposed to a window into a representational world.

Working with colour, composition, instict and intuition we will break down and subvert form into experimental compositions inspired by sound, feeling and the senses.

The course will be taught by Rosa Roberts.

There will be a break for lunch from 1-1.45. The group will eat together in the breakout space of the studio.
