Do I have to be an experienced writer?

No! These friendly workshops are open to anyone, including shy new writers.

Are there any concessions or bursaries?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  The standard ticket for 30 days of workshops costs £90, with an option to buy a weekly ticket for just £30. But we don't want anyone to miss the workshops because they are skint. If you are unable to pay the full amount, please use the pay-what-you-can option!

Question 3

Do I have to come every day?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not! There's no expectation that you'll be able to attend every day - though of course, you're very welcome to! If you miss a workshop, you can watch it later, via our Zoom recordings.

How do I join the workshops?

The workshops will happen every day on Zoom. You will be sent a link which will enable you to join. If you're not confident using Zoom,  there are lots of useful articles online which can help you to prepare, for example:  https://www.supernormal.com/blog/how-to-join-a-zoom-meeting

How will the workshops run?

Clare and Miriam will introduce inspiring texts with discussion before a setting quick writing exercises. There will normally be 3 periods of quiet writing during the hour. You won't be expected to share your writing during the hour - it's all about generating new material

Why 30 Days Wild Writing?

The Wildlife Trusts’ '30 Days Wild' asks you to do something connecting to nature every day in June... gaze at a cloud, plant a flower, identify a bird, love a bee, peer under a stone, care for the ants.. You can do that too AND write about it!

How do I get into the sessions each day?

Accepted Answer

Because Eventbrite does not like recurring events, you'll be sent your zoom link directly from the organiser's personal account. You'll find that Zoom link in the inbox of the email address you use to register.

Why does the ticket state 30th June?

Accepted Answer

This is because Eventbrite does not like recurring events! Don't worry - your ticket is for valid the dates you selected.
